Troubleshoot Local Stack
Use this guide when setup or local runtime commands fail.
Unscoped ikary install fails with 404
Use the published scoped package:

npx @ikary/ikary init my-appikary is the command name after install. It is not an unscoped npm package.
ikary local start says container runtime is not running
Check Docker Desktop or Podman first.

docker psIf that fails, start Docker Desktop or Podman, then run:

ikary local start manifest.jsonPort already in use (4500, 4501, 4502, or 5432)
Find the process using the port and stop it.

ikary local start manifest.jsonMCP returns HTTP 406 on raw curl calls
MCP Streamable HTTP requires the Accept header.
